Cole Crawford presented "Exploring Big and Boutique Data through Laboring-Class Poets Online" at Digital Humanities 2018 (Mexico City, Mexico) as a short paper on the "Digital Approaches to Poetry" panel. Cole Crawford's graduate thesis, "Respect the Gap: From Big to Boutique Data through Laboring-Class Poets Online," was selected as as the 2018 Western Association of Graduate Schools and ProQuest Humanities, Social Science, Education, and Business Award winner. "Respect the Gap" was nominated by the Oregon State University School of Writing, Literature and Film, and was then selected by OSU as the all-university thesis winner for the category.
